AJ and the Sun

I am pretty cool, and I make work that makes me feel good, best case scenario: you see my work and also feel good and then we become best friends. The majority of my work in 2023 has focused on block/lino printing which has been a beautiful exploration of media for my current design major mind. I love carving a physical object and then being able to print on different materials, ranging from grocery store paper bags to cotton t-shirts. I am happy on my printing journey and enjoying the evolution of my personal practice from mainly digital work to craft work as a current 3rd year BDes student. A lot of iconographies in my work comes from personal experiences, which will be left up to the viewer's interpretation, but is often based on positive relationships with objects and places. These pieces are little snippets of my life, so when you bring one of my pieces into your home, you are sharing that moment in time with me.
