Jaden, Chornomydz

With bright colours and grotesque forms, Jaden Chornomydz invites the viewer into his world of vivid imagination. Focusing on creating monsters designed to highlight human emotion, Jaden’s goal is to connect oneself to the malformed creature before them. Throughout his life thus far Jaden has learned to take pride in the ways he does not fit societal norms, which is reflected through his artwork in ways that call attention to unconventional attractiveness and beauty. Giving personality to each beast, Jaden wishes to communicate that there is a bit of monster within us all; that it is what makes us magnificent within a world where we are often put down for our differences. His art is heavily inspired by his love for all things horror and hours of drawing sessions in his dad's art room as a child.
