The metamorphosis of a ceramic object is unlike anything else, in its shift from malleable mud to a glassfied quartz capable of surviving thousands of years. Jason explores the unique properties of ceramic with a scientific approach of experimentation and creative approaches, that seek to capture a record of the transformative event. He blurs the line between clay and glaze, seeking to capture the movement of these bodies and explore the elemental.
