      The artist enjoys mixing print media techniques onto pottery and exploring the relationship between both process heavy mediums that engage the body which often produce unique line qualities not otherwise achievable through traditional drawing methods. They explore sexuality and the disturbing parts of life that many of us shut out for the fear of not knowing which makes one act incredibly out of character. Pushing their work to draw from those personal experiences and, to invoke conversations debunking harmful stigmas while attaining a level of functionality is the artists prerogative. Their intentions are to create a body of work recognizable for its authenticity and exploration of taboo topics. The privilege that lies within working with such an organic and raw material such as clay in a world heavily influenced by the structural qualities of concrete, steel, and other metals, speak to the artists core values of being a true to self and earthy individual. Working with clay is a never-ending learning experience throughout the different stages of ware that the artist finds great exuberance in knowing that there is no end in sight. Pottery itself is used as a fundamentally necessary element to our daily life to eat, drink and share. Amongst these rudimentary functions, the flexibility of ceramic design is endless and can extend across multiple mediums.
