Finch Boy Cut Paper Original

This sweet bird boy may be perched at the moment, but he’s ready to fly his way into your heart. My process begins with digitally sketching and refining my design, then testing out colour combinations. After that I print my line art to use as a template, hand cut each piece, then carefully assemble the paper puzzle. I like to do a reverse matte when framing, to emphasize the depth and fully utilize the shadow box. For this one of a kind original I used smooth cardstock, Kraft paper, and pencil crayon.

As with all pigmented art, keep out of direct sunlight. The glass front black frame is easy to clean and is ready to hang or sit on a table. Artwork: 6” x 6”. frame: 8 7/8” x 8 7/8” x 1”.
