"Glass is Queer" is a series of mixed media glass sculptures, which take inspiration from modern sculpture, architecture and Drag.

"Glass is Queer" as a series is odd, strange, queer, bringing a sense of performance, extravagance along with absurd sexuality and joyful radiance.

The act of glass blowing is a performance, much like Drag. Both Practices can be very excessive, with the answer to "more" always being yes.

. There is also a lot of sexual innuendo in the Glass blowing process, as in Drag. You reheat the Glass in the glory hole; your assistant must give you bench air, blow on your pipe, and even paddle the Glass for you; all this terminology can be provocative language.
