In my artistic practice, I prioritize joy as a guiding principle. I often reflect on what I would enjoy when I was younger and how this informs what I enjoy. This playful approach infuses my work with a sense of wonder and exploration. Much like how a cake tastes better when made with love, art tastes better when made with fun! I like blending digital and traditional mediums, with silkscreen printing standing out as a perfect intersection of both. This meticulous process not only allows for a hands-on experience but also seamlessly integrates digital art in its setup. This combination enables me to push the boundaries of my ideas and designs, resulting in pieces that are rich in texture and depth. My artistic style is ever evolving, and changing most recently, I’ve been captivated by the interplay of creepy and cute, a theme that has become a joyful exploration in my work. This duality allows me to create pieces that evoke both a sense of whimsy and an undercurrent of intrigue, encouraging viewers to look closer and engage with the contrasts. I draw inspiration from traditional tattoo art, appreciating its bold lines, intricate details, and cultural significance. This influence is evident in my use of strong outlines and vibrant colors, which lend a graphic quality to my work. I aim to celebrate the beauty found in the unconventional, inviting viewers to embrace the playful and the strange.
