Annie

As fandom culture reached further into the mainstream, Annie grew nostalgic for the days when small groups of dedicated fans would make their own merchandise by hand. While it wasn’t as professional looking as the mass-produced products made recently, there was a certain charm to the imperfections. She enjoyed the jagged sticker edges. After all, they were evidence that they were made by a human. While hand-cut stickers aren’t sustainable for one person to make for large amounts, she still wanted to make some to sell using these methods as an appreciation for the human imperfections they bring. In addition, she enjoys making beaded creations that make use of old, forgotten toys to give them new life. Annie has a strong sentimental attachment to the past, which is very evident in her work. Each piece is handcrafted with an unmistakable fondness for the process.
