Hi! My name is Ariel, I am an art student at AUArts in Calgary AB. My work mainly focuses on such themes as the nature and the flow of life and death, as well as time, I also enjoy creating narratives with my art pieces. People or characters which I envision to have a specific backstory, even though the work only captures them at a singular moment in time. My work often takes on a dreamlike or slightly ethereal quality. Graphite, paint, and ink are my main mediums, but I would like to branch out and add some 3D qualities to my work. My inspiration when I first began art was mostly fanart of video games, movies, and various other media.
