AUArts Glass Club

The AUArts Glass club is a group of students from diverse backgrounds who all have one thing in common: a passion for working towards making beautiful glass art. Due to the innately collaborative nature of working in a glassblowing studio, each piece that we make is a collaboration between more experienced and newer students, meaning that each piece of glass we offer was both a learning and a teaching experience.
As a club, we strive not only to strengthen our skills of glassblowing in the shop but also to share the unique sense of community that the art glass world offers, and to grow our own community through fostering meaningful relationships between students and creating connections that will support our careers. The funds we raise from various sales throughout the year we use to benefit our community as a whole, such as bringing in visiting artists to teach us techniques they specialize in. We hope that you will support our endeavors to keep glassblowing alive on the AUArts campus!
