A lover of new experiences and the simple joys in life, Grecia’s work as an illustrator is characterized by its bright colours, cheerful subjects, and detailed designs. Taking inspiration from nature, pop culture, personal life experiences, as well as stories from people around her, she aims to create art pieces that the public can easily enjoy and feel some sort of connection and relatability. This is done with the intention of reminding everyone, including herself, that art can be playful and joyful as well as intricate or satisfying. Grecia has a background in graphic design, and as she keeps developing her skills as an illustrator, she takes into account the technical knowledge she has learned from both fields to create fun and interesting illustrations. She likes to explore between geometric, abstract, organic, or cartoony styles in her artwork, always considering which approach is the most suitable for the concept and message of each piece.
