The AUArts Glass club functions to create an all-inclusive community at AUArts that makes connections inside and outside of the school. We as artists sponsor future visiting artists, artist talks, purchasing new supplies and equipment that enrich the student body here at the university. Furthermore, we support students who are attending glass-related conferences and courses. It is our imperative to make e student’s time attending AUArts an exciting and welcoming experience. Further, we strive to equip graduating students with skills that increase their creative confidence and technical skills in the medium of glass. Through collaboration and fellowship, we as artists further act to bridge connections between the school and alumni who work in glass and art. As such, our impetus is one of community building, skill-building, laughter, and learning.

We, as glass artists, strive to develop ourselves in the face of adversity and share our knowledge with our community. The work we produce inherits a grand whimsy from the diversity of our group. Further, it showcases the nature of failure and development in the technicalities of glass production.
