I grew up in a small town surrounded by forests and mountains, and as such I find great inspiration from nature. I use many fiber-based techniques such as sewing and crochet to create art inspired by nature as well the lives and deaths of the many creatures within it. I enjoy recreating textures from nature in fiber form, as well as exploring the mixture of mediums, such as creating clay pieces to be sewn onto and combined with fiber. I am a verry tactile person and enjoy being able to hold and create physical objects, and fiber is my preferred medium to do so. Ever since I was a kid, I have loved plushies of all kinds and being able to bring my own plush creations to life is something that brings me immense joy. The soft and comforting nature of plushies is something that I strive for in my art, in the hope of sharing my joy with others.
