Your Purchase Makes a Difference
At Show + Sale, we put artists first! Our Market exclusively represent current AUArts students.
Unlike other art markets, we are non-profit! When you shop with Show + Sale, 100% of sales goes to supporting the creative careers of local AUArts students, with 75% of sales going directly to our artists and 25% going to scholarships and programming.

Enjoy Show+ Sales 35th anniversary celebration with treats from Gummi Boutique, a free photobooth from The Dirty Laundry Club and support emerging artist during AUArts 100th birthday!
We also appreciate any donations at the door and or upon purchasing some artwork

Mike Hooves Memorial Scholarship
This year we are fund raising for a scholarship dedicated to Mike Hooves, who tragically past away in July of 2026. A blazing community member, a style icon and a friend of the student association, this scholarship will be offered to students based on their community engagement and give back.
How Show + Sale Supports Emerging Artists
Our 25% commission from each sale, allows us to provide a low-risk opportunity for students to gain market experience.
We fund raise student scholarships and provide FREE mentorship and workshops
We are able to regularly bring in visiting artists to keep our workshops up to date. And put together teaching/learning resources for students to help prepare them for selling at art markets.
We make participation in Show + Sale programs FREE for all students
Our programs are offered at no cost to students.
That means NO booth fees and NO point-of-sale fees. You will learn about pricing, branding and preparing your artwork for a market!
We hire and provide work experience to current students and alumni
As a student & alumni-run and led program, we believe in giving students opportunities to grow professionally. All of our positions are entry level friendly, we provide training and mentorship to prepare students for industry careers.
We pay our artists' GST
The Show + Sale program pays sales tax on behalf of our participating artists. Therefore, Show + Sale artists do not need a business registration or a GST registration number at this time, as a means for students to focus on learning market skills.
