What Sets Us Apart?

Although we cannot guarantee sales, at Show + Sale we strongly believe that there is an audience for everything! Putting your artwork out into the market world is the first step to finding that audience. We are here to help you through this program. You will learn new skills to apply to future market endeavors and gain confidence in selling your work.

The Winter Market is a 8 week program, students are required to attend 3 one hour workshops, follow direction and meet specific deadlines on time.  However, There is no expectation for the students to make new bodies of work to sell during the semester. Students should never prioritize Show + Sale over their school work. Students may apply and drop out without consequence!

Yes! Show+Sale 2026 we are bringing back two (3 hour) mandatory volunteer shifts to help us set up, run and tear down the market in November. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the community meet fellow students and network with market customers during the sale.

During the program you will attend 3 in-person workshops and review 2 online workshops. All workshop information will be available in the artist portal. These will teach you the basics of pricing your artwork, creating an inventory, understanding contracts, having a quality standard and business basics. Without this info you will not be able to participate in the market appropriately.

No! At this market we handle your work for you, you will prepare your artwork according to our standards and drop it off to be installed before the show. You will then have a specific pick day to retrieve what is left from your inventory post market.

All Jewelry + Metals majors must apply for a booth. They will receive a 6' x 2.5' table, chair and a black tablecloth, any extra display is not provided but is encouraged! Adding visual interest to your booth boosts attention from the customers. Our support staff will help you set up your booth day of the first look fundraiser night (Friday 13th, 2026)

Application as an Artist Group has the same process as an individual artist. In the Jotform you will designate a lead student to fill out required information, and you will need an Artist Group name. All proceeds must go to a fundraising cause (charity, club initiative, etc.) and you receive 85% of all sales.

All students may apply!! 3 students will be selected. The Demoing Artists are expected to attend 2 one hour training and provide descriptions and artist statements etc. Demoing Artists will then take to the stage for one hour on Saturday Nov. 14th to show off their art demo to the public. This PAID opportunity is a fantastic way to get more confident in public speaking and adds a unique experience to your CV.
