Intro to Beading on Felt and Edging

Start off your Saturday by getting an inside look at Em McLuckie's beadwork practice. Em will show you how she does beadwork on felt with a beautiful cabochon in the centre, teaching you how she evenly distributes the beads across the piece. And to finish off Em will conclude her demo by showing you how she edges her pieces.

Shelley will show you how to build a mug, how to build a decorative Christmas tree, and how to use a press mold. You will leave here wanting to get your hands dirty in clay!

Relax with Nigora Boboev as she demos Sadle Stitch a simple and fun way to bookbind. Learn how to incorporate bookbinding in your day to day lives, for school projects, making your own notebooks, or just for fun! Not only is it easy to learn, but bookbinding is an accessible craft, as you can use new or recycled material.
