Trin’s Trinkets

As a studying character design major and part-time ceramicist, Triniti’s ceramic ware is inspired by the interplay of form and function, as well as the effects of consumerism on everyday objects. Trin believes that simple houseware should be uniquely cherished; this philosophy is what drives her to make every piece one-of-a-kind, a testament to individuality. Trin’s pieces are uniquely glazed and carved by hand down to the foot, glazing for each piece features a carefully considered variety of earthy hues. From dark, murky Stillwater to the fizzy residue of a wave washed on a shore, every colour is chosen as a reflection of the natural world we live in.  With the help of a pottery wheel, she guides the clay body through the creation of each form, focusing on the process more than the final product. This often results in many bubbly and elongated works, allowing each piece to have individuality and emphasizing the importance of creating works of art without perfection becoming a roadblock. Trin welcomes you to celebrate the uniqueness of life through her meticulously crafted houseware, each with its own reflection of individuality and warmth.
