Come see 10 unique artists from around AUArts show off their art practices at the Demo Stage and learn what it is like to be an emerging artist. Hot Glass Winter Market Kickoff with the Glass Club
Friday, November 25 - 2:30pm-4:30pm - Virtual on IG Stories at @showandsale.yyc.
Count down to the Winter Market with our very own AUArts Glass Club on our Instagram Stories at @showandsale.yyc. Learn about the ancient art of glassblowing and how our glass students work with molten material every day. Enjoy a short demo on how to make a handblown Christmas ornament, meet the Glass Club members, and join the fun with an interactive Q & A.

Print Photobooth with Ya Wen
Friday, November 25 - 6:30pm-9:30pm - Centerpiece Square
There is no better way to celebrate our First Night Fundraiser than a holiday-themed photobooth! Stop by Centerpiece Square on November 25 to get a fun picture taken by one of Photography major Ya Wen, complete with interactive props. 4x6 take home prints will be available with a tap and cash station. Bring home a great memory from the Winter Market!

Jewelry + Metals Open Studio with Cici Lai and Emma Varden
Saturday, November 26 - 10:30am-12:30pm - Demo Stage
Our first Saturday demo features jewelry undergrad Emma Varden and Masters student Cici Lai. Watch them show off how they create their unique jewelry pieces through flameworking, metal casting, and other cool techniques.

Digital Art and Character Design with Sam Saloff and K Huizinga

So how do digital artists create, the characters we love so much in tv series, anime, and comics? Learn the secrets of great character design with design students Sam Saloff and K Huizinga in this exciting afternoon demo. Learn tips and tricks for Photoshop and watch them make a character from scratch with the help of you: the audience!

Printmaking Party with Jonathan Creese and Nicole Jones

Even with all the great technology we have, there is something so special about a handmade print. In this demo print artists Jonathan Creese and Nicole Jones will take you on a tour through several printmaking techniques that give digital designs a run for their money, including silkscreening, intaglio, copper plate etching, and more.

Last but certainly not least we're rounding out the Featured Artist demos with a fun interactive painting demo with artists Bryan McLean and Lu Bassett. Now you can be an artist too and help them create a unique piece of artwork that will grow and change through the afternoon.
